Raul Velasco attended the Indiana University School of Music, where he obtained his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in piano performance. His primary teachers have included Teresa Quezada, Zadel Skolovsky and Leonard Hokanson. He is an examiner for Royal Conservatory of Music.
