Community Support Shines at Team Bob’s 2026 Pub Night

Fundraiser in Memory of Bob Sidhu Supporting ALS BC Join our community for the final annual fundraiser in memory of Bob Sidhu, beloved husband of Praveen, who passed away from ALS ten years ago. Over the past decade, thanks to the incredible support of friends, businesses, and community members, more than $75,000 has been raised to support individuals and families living with ALS. This year, the goal is to reach $100,000 in his memory. ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a devastating disease that progressively takes away the ability to walk, speak, eat, and breathe, while the mind often remains fully aware. Families living with ALS face tremendous emotional and financial challenges, often requiring specialized equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, lifts, communication devices, and respiratory supports. All funds raised will go directly to ALS BC to provide essential equipment loans, client services, and hands-on support that help bring dignity, comfort, and relief to families during an incredibly difficult time. Pub Night Fundraiser Date: April 10, 2026 Time: 6:30 PM Location: Richmond Canadian Brewhouse Tickets: $25 Community members and supporters are invited to join for an evening of connection, remembrance, and support. A strong turnout is expected once again this year. Walk to End ALS in Richmond Date: May 30, 2026 Time: 9:30 AM Location: Garry Point Park Everyone is welcome to participate. A Vancity tent will be present at the event to support the walk and connect with participants. Sponsorship and Donations Donations and sponsorship support are currently being sought to help reach the final fundraising goal. All donors will be acknowledged at the event and highlighted through social media and promotional materials.
