Mamas for Mamas and IKEA Richmond are partnering to help create a better everyday life for 1000+ children and youth in our community who begin each year without proper back to school essentials. That’s 500 local families who are challenged by rising living costs, and with children who are affected emotionally and academically. 

IKEA Richmond is collecting non-IKEA and IKEA back to school essentials for Mamas for Mamas Backpack program from until Wednesday, July 31, 2024. To encourage the community to work together, IKEA Richmond will match the retail value of IKEA “Back to School” essentials donated during the campaign period up to a maximum of $5000 retail value.
